About BEGARH
BEGARH (Beautiful Gate for Adolescent Reproductive Health) is a nonprofit organization based in Buea, Cameroon. Founded to address critical gaps in adolescent health, education, and economic empowerment, BEGARH works at the intersection of health advocacy, community development, and youth leadership.
We operate across communities in Cameroon, delivering evidence-based programs that equip young people with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to lead healthy, productive lives. Our approach is grounded in the One Health model, recognizing that human, animal, and environmental health are deeply interconnected.

BEGARH Founded
BEGARH was established in Buea, Cameroon, with a founding commitment to adolescent reproductive health education.
First Health Care Drive
BEGARH launched its inaugural community health care drive, reaching over 200 community members with free health screenings.
Skills Acquisition Program Launched
The youth skills acquisition and entrepreneurship program began, training 50 young people in employable skills.
Digital Literacy Initiative
BEGARH launched its digital literacy program targeting rural adolescents, establishing three community innovation hubs.
2,000 Beneficiaries Milestone
BEGARH crossed the 2,000 beneficiaries served milestone, expanding programs to 10+ communities across Cameroon.
Research & Innovation Program
Launched a research program generating evidence-based data to guide health and development interventions in Cameroon.
Partnership Expansion
BEGARH expanded its network to 10+ organizational partners, amplifying impact across health, education, and livelihoods.
National Recognition & Scale-Up
BEGARH received national recognition from the Cameroon Ministry of Health and scaled programs to 3 regions, training over 500 new beneficiaries in reproductive health education and skills development.
Digital Health Platform Launch
BEGARH launched an integrated digital health platform enabling remote consultations and health education delivery to underserved adolescents across Cameroon.
